The Parkour Toolbox CPD workshop explores the movement vocabulary and technical skills within parkour, helping you expand your 'toolbox' both as a coach and practitioner.
This workshop is designed to provide you with a wide range of functional movement techniques, training drills, activities and methods to underpin your movement practice and coaching.
You'll take away a wide array of exercises you can use in your own practice or implement in classes, and you will acquire a stronger insight into the interconnected nature of parkour movement skills.
Topics covered include:
- Warm-up games and activities
- Physical literacy development
- Understanding movement training
- Quadrupedal locomotion patterns
- Vault patterns
- Jump methodology and technique
- Practical rolling skills
- Ascending and descending methods
The workshop contains both theory and practical elements, so be prepared to move for the majority of the day.
This course is ideal for beginners as an introduction to parkour movements as well as providing a deep resource of new ideas, patterns and methods for more experienced coaches.
Highly useful for PE teachers, sports coaches, parkour practitioners and coaches of any movement discipline.
This is a one day course starting at 09:00 and finishing at 17:00.

If you cannot meet the prerequisite requirements at the time of the course, you must present evidence of having done so within 12 months of the end of your course in order to receive your certification.
