ADAPT International Summit 2025 – Mexico City: A Transformational Gathering

The ADAPT International Summit 2025 in Mexico City was a remarkable convergence of heart, craft, and innovation — bringing together parkour coaches, gym owners, movement professionals, and community leaders from around the world for two days of inspiration, connection, and deep learning.

Held on 22–23 November 2025, the Summit celebrated the vibrancy of our global community and everyone’s shared commitment to advancing parkour coaching.

This year’s programme was thoughtfully designed to blend practical expertise, creative exploration, and community-driven dialogue, with standout sessions that genuinely shaped how attendees think about their work and their impact.

Inspiring Topics & World-Class Presenters

The Summit offered a rich mix of workshops, deep dives, and discussions, providing both strategic insight and coaching refinement for all levels:

Coaching Practice & Movement Innovation

  • “Coaching Longevity & Good Practices” sparked meaningful conversations in the morning Spark Topic groups, focusing on how coaches can sustain both their physical and professional longevity.

  • Evan Beyer’s session on Dysregulation & Trauma explored the subtle emotional and physiological dynamics that influence coaching effectiveness.

  • Dan Edwardes’ talks, including The Quiet Crisis in Parkour Coaching and Jump Easy: Coaching Plyometrics in Parkour, gave coaches powerful frameworks to preserve the spirit of the art while deepening technical understanding.

Business & Community Leadership

  • Christopher Hollingsworth’s Systems That Scale helped attendees think bigger about how to grow their organisations sustainably, while his later Coaching Ontology session offered a philosophical grounding to coaching identities and practices.

  • Adam McClellan delivered key business insights with both Culture of Feedback and Sales & Marketing: Closing Your Trial Lessons, equipping coaches with tools to strengthen relationships with students and members alike.

  • Jesse Danger & Ruby Romero’s Becoming a GameChanger gave an energetic lens on leadership and impact.

Youth, Community & Programme Design

  • Building Successful Youth Programmes with Danilo Reis highlighted how to nurture young movers safely and joyfully.

  • Coach’s Design Toolkit with Nick Anastasia gave practical tools for crafting engaging, effective class structures.

Across these sessions, the Summit balanced evidence-based coaching techniques, business strategy, and community-centered discourse — all presented by trusted voices from within the ADAPT network.

Collective Learning & Rich Interaction

Beyond the formal sessions, the Summit’s Spark Topic Discussion Groups — from Working with Older Adults to Programming & Curriculum Building — created spaces for coaches to share insights and solve real-world challenges collaboratively. Not only did this foster deeper learning, it helped strengthen the bonds across our international community.

The daily rhythm — from relaxed kick-0ff coffee  meetups to Open Training sessions at WuKong Gym — kept the Summit grounded in both practice and play. Those moments of shared movement, laughter, and informal exchange turned acquaintances into collaborators and friends, which is an essential aspect of our mission.

ADAPT Global Updates & Vision

One highlight was the ADAPT Global Updates & Mission session, where headquarters shared exciting new projects, resources, and the continued strategic vision for how ADAPT supports coaches worldwide. It wasn’t just about celebratory achievements — it was about what comes next, and how each coach in the room contributes to the broader evolution of parkour education.

A Truly Transformative Summit

What made the Summit special wasn’t just the quality of sessions, but the quality of connection. Coaches returned home with:

  • practical tools and frameworks they could apply immediately
  • new perspectives from diverse global peers
  • deeper confidence in their role as leaders
  • friendships and professional relationships to sustain them throughout the coming year

This Summit truly reflected ADAPT’s core belief: great coaching strengthens individuals, communities, and the future of the art we love.

Most importantly we'd like to thank everyone who made this phenomenal event possible, from the presenters to the participants, from the logistical experts behind the scenes and the local support personnel to the USA operations team for putting the whole thing together. Incredible work by a group of incredible individuals.
