About the Network
What the ADAPT network is, how it works, and what it means to be part of it.
ADAPT has been certifying parkour coaches since 2008 — the first organisation in the world to develop and deliver a formal parkour coach education pathway. What began as a small network of dedicated practitioners has grown into the most comprehensive parkour coaching community on the planet.
Our coaches aren't simply people who passed a course. They are active practitioners and community builders who have chosen to hold themselves to a professional standard, submit to ongoing assessment, and participate in a shared commitment to the growth of parkour as a discipline.
The network is global, but it operates through real relationships. ADAPT coaches communicate, share knowledge, and support each other across borders — connected by a common language of coaching practice and a shared respect for the movement.
Every certified coach in these directories has earned their place through assessed practical performance, written examination, and supervised teaching hours. There are no honorary listings.
Every ADAPT certification is assessed against the same criteria whether earned in London, São Paulo, Seoul or Helsinki.
Coaches are encouraged to pursue CPD courses, mentoring, and progression through the certification levels. Learning doesn't stop at qualification.
ADAPT coaches share knowledge, connect across borders, and contribute to a parkour culture built on respect, professionalism and generosity.
Every November, certified coaches gather for the ADAPT Coaching Summit — a full day of development, connection and shared learning.
The Tutors
The people who deliver and assess ADAPT courses worldwide.
ADAPT Coach Educators — known as Tutors — are the people you meet on a course. They are highly experienced practitioners and coaches who have progressed through the ADAPT system to become qualified to assess and certify others.
Every Tutor holds at minimum an ADAPT Level 1 Tutor Certification, with many holding additional qualifications at Coach Educator and Internal Verifier level. They run their own parkour organisations, deliver courses internationally, and represent the highest standard of professional practice in the discipline.
Course Delivery — qualified to deliver ADAPT Level 1 courses and to assist with Level 2 courses.
Course Delivery — qualified to deliver and assess ADAPT Level 1 and 2 courses independently.
Master Tutor — qualified to deliver all levels of coach certification and to formally assess candidates for ADAPT certifications and make pass/defer decisions.
Internal Verification — the highest educator level, responsible for quality assurance across ADAPT's assessment processes worldwide.
