The Level 2 Tutor Certification trains an individual to deliver the A.D.A.P.T. Level 2 Coach Certification course and assessments, plus the relevant Continued Professional Development courses on behalf of an authorised A.D.A.P.T. Delivery Centre. This certification is comprised of on-the-job training and practice.
There is no formal assessment required for this certification, however, each candidate must undergo guided live based training across a maximum of 24 months. Each candidate will be asked to first observe a live Level 2 Coach Certification course and assessment in action from the point of view of a Tutor, the candidate will then be asked to assist on 3 further Level 2 Coach Certification courses and assessments with an increasing number of responsibilities, culminating in delivering the entire Level 2 Coach Certification course and assessment under observation. As both parts of the Level 2 Coach Certification, the course and assessments, require separate skills in their own right, it is entirely possible for a candidate to progress at different rates for each part.
The Level 2 Tutor Certification is based in live training and so therefore has no course. Instead, each candidate will be assigned a remote tutor who will help them with any questions they may have as well as help them be assigned to courses and assessments to begin and continue their live training.
