7-8 August 2027 · Saturday-Sunday

Parkour Generations London, Import Building, 2 Clove Crescent, London, UK

Prove your standard as a Level 2 coach

The Level 2 Assessment is where preparation meets proof. Over two days you'll be tested on your personal movement competence, your coaching knowledge, and your ability to plan and deliver a real session under observation, the full standard expected of an ADAPT Level 2 coach.

Before you book

You'll need the following in place before assessment day:

  • Valid ADAPT Level One Certificate
  • Valid, up-to-date First Aid certificate
  • Completed and signed Level 2 Learner Pack
  • 40 completed Reflective Coaching Sessions

How the assessment runs

Day One — Parkour Competence Assessment Up to 8 hours, covering 15 exercise areas that test your foundation movement skills across the full range of parkour competence. Each area is marked on completion, hesitation, quality and consistency, with a maximum score available for perfect execution.

Pass mark: 85%. Score 90% or above for a Pass with Distinction.

Day Two — Coaching Assessments

Written Assessment A 90-minute paper covering fundamental parkour knowledge, coaching theory and best practice. Pass mark: 80%.

Practical Coaching Assessment You'll be given a coaching theme or scenario on the day, with 30 minutes to plan a session around it. You'll then deliver a 25–40 minute simulated coaching session demonstrating effective coaching, and may be asked questions on Level 2 course content or best practice. Pass mark: 90%.

Optional Live Coaching Assessment At the Assessor's discretion, you may be asked to teach a live parkour session under observation, either during the assessment period or shortly after, at a live event or a class you're already scheduled to run. You'll be told at the end of assessments if this applies to you.

FAQs

What happens if I don't pass every element? You only need to retake the elements you don't pass first time. If you clear the Parkour Competence Assessment but fall short on the Written or Practical Coaching Assessment (or vice versa), you carry your passed elements forward and resit only the ones you missed.

How do I know if I'm ready to be assessed? If you hold a valid ADAPT Level One Certificate, an up-to-date First Aid certificate, a completed Level 2 Learner Pack, and have logged your 40 Reflective Coaching Sessions, you meet the prerequisites to sit the assessment.

What's the difference between the Practical and Live Coaching Assessments? The Practical Coaching Assessment is a simulated session built around a theme given to you on the day. The Live Coaching Assessment, only required at the Assessor's discretion, has you teaching a real class or event session under observation, either during the assessment period or shortly after.

Will I know in advance if a Live Coaching Assessment is required? No. It's set at the Assessor's discretion, and you'll be informed at the end of the two days whether it applies to you.

How is the Parkour Competence Assessment marked? Across 15 exercise areas, each scored on completion, hesitation, quality and consistency. You need 85% overall to pass, and 90% for a Pass with Distinction.

What should I bring on the day? Your completed and signed Level 2 Learner Pack, proof of your First Aid and Level One certificates, and kit ready for a full day of movement assessment.
