Regular price £295.00 (Group prices available)
Accredited first aid built for movement practitioners, not office workers. In partnership with Clarion First Aid.
Most first aid courses are written for low risk environments: desks, corridors, staff rooms. They're not written for falls, impacts, joint trauma, or a participant who's gone down mid-session. This course is.
Over two days you will gain full EFAW accreditation, the recognised standard for workplace first aid, and a second day built specifically around what actually happens when you coach movement / parkour.
What You'll Cover
Day 1 delivers the complete EFAW syllabus. Day 2 takes that foundation and applies it directly to movement coaching: the injuries, incidents, and judgement calls a generic first aid course never touches.
Day 1: EFAW Accreditation
- Primary survey and casualty assessment.
- CPR and AED use.
- Choking. Shock. Bleeding control.
- The full ITC First Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work syllabus, delivered to HSE-aligned standard by Clarion First Aid deliverers.
Day 2: First Aid for Movement Coaches
- Falls from height, apparatus, and bad landings.
- Joint injuries, dislocations, and when to stop someone moving.
- Impact trauma and what to check for beneath the surface.
- Breathlessness: asthma, exertion, panic, and telling the difference.
- Concussion recognition, red flags, and what "return to session" actually means.
- C-spine injuries and protocols.
- Blisters, bleeds and when it needs more than a plaster.
- Casualty movement: how and when to move someone safely, and when not to.
- Environmental awareness: heat, cold, terrain, and outdoor session risk.
- Group dynamics and people management.
- How to build a useful first aid kit.
